In 1996, Mr. Rubenstein founded the Federation of Internet Solution Providers of the Americas (FISPA), which today serves as the "voice of the Internet industry" by providing a forum to collectively lobby, exchange ideas and explore partnership opportunities.

Before focusing on the technology field, Mr. Rubenstein practiced law, primarily in the Southern District of the United States, specializing in civil and criminal trial work. Before beginning his legal practice, Mr. Rubenstein was a founding partner of Equitrust Financial Corp., a real estate investment company.

Mr. Rubenstein is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned his Juris Doctor in 1995 and a Bachelor's of Science in Business Administration in 1992.
