Document Review, Approval, and Rejection Process
Once a form is completed within the ReportBeam™ system, it can be automatically transmitted to the officer’s supervisor and the agency’s back-end database system(s). Through a web-based interface, supervisors are able to search for documents by number, name, location, or any other data field within the document.  The ReportBeam™ system not only makes the desired data available instantly, it also makes it easy to identify and locate related forms/documents.

Supervisors can review the forms/documents for completeness and accuracy.  Feedback between supervisors and officers can be provided by adding and editing notes.  In addition, supervisors can change the document’s status, re-assign the document, view a brief summary of the document, add an attachment, approve the document, or delete the document.

Every document has a complete audit trail that contains a detailed list of who created the document, and everyone that accessed and/or modified a document. The audit trail makes it easy to track all report corrections/modifications.  In addition, the Workflow & Approvals™ module also provides the capability for a supervisor (or other authorized user) to view and print a duplicate copy of any document.
